Yiorgos Nalpantidis is a film/video maker, living and working in Athens, Greece. He has studied Filmmaking in Stavrakos Film School, Economic Theory in Aristotle University, and Creative Writing (MA) in the Western Macedonia University. His work is mainly focused on the relationship between image, language, and reality. His films have been screened at more than 50 (mainly experimental) film festivals and venues in 24 different countries around the world, including: Paris Festival for Different and Experimental Cinemas; EXiS Experimental Film&Video Festival in Seoul; Athens (Ohio) International Film and Video Festival; Antimatter [Media Art] Festival; Traverse Video (Toulouse). |
